WHAT IS A LOOK ?
- A look is a complete change of wardrobe. A two look session is approximately one hour. During that time if you want to take off your jacket or put on a scarf or glasses it is fine. But you do not want to spend an overly long amount of time fussing with wardrobe instead of getting more great shots.
- There is truth to the phrase “picture perfect”. Once your hair and wardrobe is in place, we like to maintain it that way.
- You may arrive hair and makeup ready, or schedule one of our makeup artists.
- You may bring your own makeup artist for touchups, but please arrive camera ready. If you use your own makeup artist, make sure they understand how to give you a natural look and how to avoid iridescent or shiny products that will affect the quality of your photo.
- Please arrive wardrobe ready as well. Your clothes should be clean and ironed. We have a steamer for touchups only. We have a wardrobe rack to hang your clothes.
- Solid colors are best. Avoid busy patterns or product logos.
- Keep jewelry at a minimum. If you do choose jewelry try it on to see if it hangs evenly.
- Our studio is climate controlled so feel free to wear whatever wardrobe you like, a tank top in winter or a jacket in summer.
- It’s about which wardrobe captures who you are.
- A headshot is about your face and your essence.
WHERE DO WE SHOOT?
- We shoot in our studio with professional lighting. This way we have complete control of the lighting.
- We use seamless backdrops in black, white or gray.
- This is a safe and welcoming atmosphere open to all.
WHEN DO I GET MY PHOTOS?
- Your photos will be ready for download 48 hours after your shoot. If you require them the same day there is a $100 rush fee and proofs will be ready by midnight the same day as your booking.
- If you need your final retouched images the same day as well, there is an additional $50 rush fee.We use seamless backdrops in black, white or gray.
WHAT IS A PROOF WHAT IS A RETOUCHED IMAGE?
- A proof is an image which has undergone exposure correction and color correction.
- A fully retouched image includes the removal of stray hairs across your face, blemish removal, softening of fine lines and more. My husband and I work as team to retouch your final picks by hand. We work artfully so that you remain the best of you! We do not overly photoshop images.
HOW DO I BOOK ?
Once we set up a time, we will send you our contract to reserve your date and time.
There is a $100 deposit by credit card required. We accept all major credit cards.
If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 10 days in advance so we may apply your deposit to a new date.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours before your session you will forfeit your deposit.
